Outcome 1: CHILDREN HAVE A STRONG SENSE OF IDENTITY

Outcome 2: CHILDREN ARE CONNECTED WITH AND CONTRIBUTE TO THEIR WORLD
The MLG program supports this outcome in its practises by;
- Children feel part of a group and a program that creates a sense of belonging
- Children are exposed to group play and negotiation
- Children learn about rules and expected behaviours
- Children reflect on their own responses to diversity and appreciate diversity
- Encourage children to listen to others and use good body language
Outcome 3: CHILDREN HAVE A STRONG SENSE OF WELLBEING
The MLG program supports this outcome in its practises by;
- Working on sensory integration
- Encouraging movement in a fun and non-competitive manner
- Working on gross and fine motor skills
- Working on improving children’s movement patterns so they gain a mastery of the way they move in time and space
- Enhancing their core strength and ability to negotiate obstacles
- Working on increasing children’s ability to balance
- Encourage students to have a go at activities and learn from them
- Crossing the midline activities to help assist cognitive function
- Supporting children to regulate their emotions
- Encourage healthy habits
Outcome 4: CHILDREN ARE CONFIDENT AND INVOLVED LEARNERS
The MLG program supports this outcome in its practises by;
- qlans appropriate learning environments for children so that there is an opportunity to experiment and take appropriate risks
- Uses numeracy and literacy in the program
- Encourages children to make connections to the numeracy, literacy and how they move
- Encourages students to be flexible thinkers and open-minded learners
- Provides sensory exploration
- Provides opportunities for children to construct meaning from their learning
Outcome 5: CHILDREN ARE EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATORS
The MLG program supports this outcome in its practises by;
- Encourages children to effectively communicate with each other, with instructors and provides opportunities to share with each other often
- Our program is numeracy and literacy rich and children learn about numbers, shapes, letters and words at each and every station. This is strengthened by the fact the students are moving at the same time.
- MLG model’s appropriate social language
- MLG encourages its children to learn together and from each other.
