If you are part of a community organization that works with children and would like to incorporate a movement-based program to add value to your program and improve children’s outcomes, then we can come to you and provide the knowledge and support you need to get started.
MLG in the community
There are two types of services that Move Learn Grow can offer community groups/clubs:
- An MLG Program Consultation Service to community groups/clubs. This service aims to “value-add” to existing programs and “upskill” community group/club staff.
The MLG Consultation Service would include an observation and feedback.
Parameters of the service would include:
- An environmental audit
- Upskilling of staff
- On floor support
- Teaching of MLG concepts
- Offering tailored services to families at a community groups or club.
- Using their own assessment tool, MLG leaders would visit community groups/clubs and review children via a range of activities and provide the results of the assessment and recommendation for outcomes.
Alternatively, community groups/clubs can purchase the Move Learn Grow book which provides a step by step guide to a year’s worth of the program which club staff can implement themselves, or packaged with the assistance initially of our consultancy services.
Fees to be negotiated per community groups/club dependent on numbers, times and distance of travel.
